I just had to share this spot on post.
A reader told me about a ridiculous tweet made by Sam Singer. As I looked for that one, I found an even more ridiculous one (well, it might have been a tie):
Struggling SF Archbishop Cordileone desperate for support, cash: campaign begs for $, help: http://www.catholicvote.org/archbishop-cordileone-defense-fund/?ref=fb1
(Sam wasn’t so kind to put the real link in, so I’ll help him out! Use it!)
My response to him?
@samsinger hardly struggling. We know the types who to try and bleed people dry in court and we will defeat you. Meet the laity, Sam.
Seriously, Sam – MEET – THE – LAITY! Maybe you and those in your little “100 Prominent Catholics” bubble think the Archbishop is all alone. Sorry, you’ve declared war and you’re going to have to get through these troops before you ever reach him. Be prepared for some mass casualties. We’ve been in the war with those opposed…

Dear Steve.
I have been writing about the Synod on my blog for the last 6months. What I have come to understand is that the only issue that is driving the agenda is the changing Catholic moral teaching on aberro-sexuality, i.e. homosexual behaviour and the rest of the fetishes.
One of the main reasons why I have come to this conclusion is that the Five Cardinal’s Book has totaly destroyed any arguements for communion for remarried and second unions. From what I hear, the 5C book is a mainstay of the Polish Episcopate in their preparations for the upcoming Synod.
To kill the last part of the hidden agenda, i.e. the aberro-sexual agenda, what would come in handy is another 5C book, but this time on LOVE. From all indication, it would appear that the AE that will come out post synod will be something along the lines of the “theology of love”. So if a book along the 5C marriage tretise would appear on LOVE, it would put a big dent in the Marx & co. agenda.
If you like the idea, please pass it along.
Pax Christi,
S.Armaticus

In fact, I have just finished reading your latest a few minutes ago and pondered whether to reblog, which I am doing. I totally agree with your notions here, except I have been thinking that it is because many of these prelates are seeking to absolve themselves of their own participation in these abominable acts. They speak about the “flock” but that is just a smokescreen.
