Very interesting post and source, steveesq.

Our family has long been connected to Santa Clara University, in fact since 1916 when our first family member attended, then, a profoundly Catholic, disciplined institution. There is no semblance of that institution left at all.

Fr. Magin Catala, OFM, the “Holy Man of Santa Clara”, one of the last Mission Franciscans, a man of extraordinary virtue and documented miraculous life, who died about 1833, long ago predicted a great civilization would rise at what he called “Yerba Buena” (the original Spanish name for San Francisco), but would be destroyed on account of its wickedness. Every day, a behemoth slouches its slow, uneven gait ever closer toward Gomorrah. Some day it will fully arrive and fully take its Satanic seat as king.

Since that time long ago (Fr. Magin Catala’s, and the first half of the last century, that is), the cultural environment here has become so poisonous out here (in the San Francisco Baytheist Area), so hostile, that even the cited website by Fr. Z (Cal Catholic Daily) has become overrun by commenters that are aggressively LGBTQ and by their go-along, get-along supporters. They work to drive other “reality” people off the site. I have come to the conclusion it isn’t even “safe” to comment any more there at CCD (so much for “safe spaces”), since I am well aware that they try to identify and destroy individual commenters. It is beyond verbal: here, it is very easy force a site to reveal information, then use that to intimidate employers, and that is the way they “get you”.

Most of us have retreated to small independent blogs such as Ex Magna, where the blog owner has some control over what is going on. Cal Catholic Daily lost that control some time ago, and although they are informational, it is only a matter of time until they are fully infiltrated and we know what will come after that.

May God have mercy on an amoral Amerika.

So sad to read your comment, Steve. But together we are spreading their shameful and heretical behavior so that others can also know about it. Hopefully that dries up funding and unwitting support that they count on, and then they dry up.

Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich: “I saw also the relationship between the two popes. . . I saw how baleful (harmful) would be the consequences of this false church. I saw it increase in size; heretics of every kind came into the city (of Rome). The local clergy grew lukewarm, and I saw a great darkness…”
