Please take a few moments to read this interview Brother Bugnolo conducted with the now more-famous-than-he-wanted-to-be David Domet of the Vox Cantoris blog. This is how a real Catholic speaks and thinks. This is the brick wall of solid Faith that “Father” Thomas Rosica thought he could drive through and obliterate. This is what putting on the armor of God means and we see here and in this whole Lenten episode how that armor truly helps and assists us. Take from this also the foremost need of everyone, for themselves and their families and friends, to know the Faith, to know the necessity of the full practice of the faith in attending the Liturgy and regular prayer, and receiving the Sacraments, which we can only get by our own efforts. Rosica and his ilk believe lay Catholics are too stupid and weak to strive for understanding and attain the high bar set by Jesus for our salvation. Rather than assist and encourage, they would deny Jesus as being too unreasonable and too harsh for modern people and tell them to go and sin, go and profane the Eucharist, and don’t worry about all that “hell” nonsense.
That program is deadly for themselves, those who follow that bad advice, and for much of the Church. That is not from the Holy Spirit, but from the devil. Despite this desire to return to 1968 that has sprouted again with renewed vigor, for the devil will never cease and desist, there are many real Catholics, like David and Brother Bugnolo here, who will not deny our Lord and will not commit sacrilege and will not stand silently by as it is proposed.
When the Son of Man returns, will He find Faith on earth?
Yes. It may be only in small pockets scattered here and there, but He will. Here is the proof of that.
Fr. Thomas Rosica meets Pope Francis, during the recent Extra-Ordinary Synod on the Family
Q. The Catholic world is gladdened to hear today that Fr. Rosica has decided not to take legal action against you, for your public criticism of his positions at your now famous blog, Vox Cantoris. As one of those who would like to know more about this sad episode, I am honored that you have consented to be interviewed by the From Rome blog.
Let us begin, therefore, with the facts of the case. When and how did you receive the threat of legal action, what Fr. Rosica now calls, the cease and desist letter?
Mr. Domet: Well, it clearly did not seem to me as a “cease and desist letter” which could have been written by him without the aid of one of Toronto’s most expensive law firms (though he does state the work…
