My First Threat From A Cowardly “c”atholyc?

Mikes Maxine

She’s Really A Sweet Puppy

No doubt thanks to Father Z’s blog, several people have found their way to this blog. For those folks and their notes of support I am very thankful.  For so long I kept quiet but I’m beginning to understand that others are also dealing with like frustration.  Thank you all again and we’ll see where we go.

I just received a comment which consists of my name, which I am not hiding, and what the writer believes could be my office and home addresses.  Maybe they’re right and maybe they’re wrong.

Why would someone care about that?  And what’s the point in a com-box?  On a blog that has been up for a week with only a few entries? Then I noted whence it came.  “Defend Liberal Gains” is the supposed commenter and was posted to my entry on the way we speak to our Lord and respect for the Eucharist.

Somebody hates the Eucharist enough to hunt this blog down and wants to call out the “t”ruth squads and do . . . whatever?  To little old insignificant me?  To intimidate me into silence?  But I just came out of that and I’m not going back.  Am I such a threat to liberal gains, whatever those might be (although I have lots of thoughts on that!) that I get implied threats of harm to my person, family and property?  Who would want that?  Because of a blog by a complete unknown and insignificant person that can be easily ignored and likely will be by the vast majority out there in internetland?

The “tolerance”, “dialogue” and “just-be-nice” crowd, and he who seems to control them, only demand that from me and those who stand for the fullness of the Faith, but never of themselves.  And that’s the point I’m making overall.  We’ve let that crew guide the barque right onto the shoals, and to undermine the Faith, try to trash and destroy our beautiful churches, and all their other “fruits” they’ve brought us.

So, go to Hell, whoever you are, unless you ask for God’s mercy and forgiveness.  And if you come to me, ask yourself who will be waiting for you: meek and cowering Steve or will he also have friends such as Mr. Colt, Messieurs Smith and Wesson, Mr. Glock, Mr. Gatling or a big Rottweiler that loves strangers, not to mention his Guardian Angel?

I know this isn’t an attack on me.  It’s an attack on Jesus, because someone, many, many someones, don’t like Him and don’t want others to know Him.

Thank you for your vote of confidence that I am part of the One and Only True Church, for what I have written and what will be coming.

I can only imagine what kind of stuff Father Z and others might get every day, by the dozens.
